High-pressure mercury discharge lamps
High pressure mercury discharge lamps with a soft or hard glass elliptical bulb protecting the filament whereby the inside is coated with a flourescent powder yttrium vanadium and an europium additive.
Applicable for external lighting of motorways, bridges, parks, train stations, construction sites and loading ramps, while for internal lighting it is used in industrial halls, warehouses and glasshouses. After extinguishing the lamp, 3-5 minutes are required for repeated ignition which depends on the type of lamp and cooling conditions.

Note
Lighting a VTFE lamp without a bulb or with a damaged bulb is dangerous and impermissible due to ultraviolet radiation which is harmful for eyes and skin.
